A nice change-it-upper from your usual sakumoto fics, and trust Neens to be so upfront and filled with a different type of angst that befits his blunt personality. I love that it's still an angsty piece, but a deviation that the type that I'm normally used to associating with your sakumoto fics.
I like that while Neens realized his attraction to Sho, it still took him some time to give in to anything more between them. That he knew they were coming from very different paths, and acknowledged early on that they needed to figure out what (or rather IF) they could compromise their own values, beliefs, what each wanted out of his life. Your sakumoto fics are 'easier' in the sense that you know both fit IF THEY JUST GET TOGETHER~~ and I really enjoy how sakumiya doesn't have it so 'easy'.
Oh goodness, am I even making sense here?
