You have so much skill it's ridiculous. I'd never be able to capture this manner of speaking and thinking and... really, whenever you choose to go to a time period you don't mess around. The characters are immersed in it without losing themselves, and that's fantastic.
I wouldn't really see reason to ship Sho/Becky after this, but I think you gave them one of the happiest marriages there would have been around this time and that was impressive. They work together so well as childhood friends, I'd love to see more Sho/Becky friendship after this for sure! And I loved her friendship in Aiba with this as well. It was all completely believable.
I also like that you gave Sho reason to be sort of uptight. It doesn't fit him to follow every rule exactly all the time, but because his father has passed away, it's like a trigger for all that sense of extra moral responsibility. I also love that Nino could see through the walls he's put up, even though Sho himself couldn't. That kind of relationship is refreshing for sure, though I thought it really sad that Nino built all of this up, pushed and pushed and got Sho riled up, only for a summer fling. At least their friendship continues? And Sho changes for the better. Definitely bittersweet.

Anyway, I really loved this! ♥
